Per instructions from Louis VI, Abbot Suger of St-Denis, where the caput Kings

In 1125, Suger persuaded Matthew le Bel, Lord
of Villiers, just to the NE of St Denis, to list what he himself held as liege
knight from the abbey----
Matthews fiefs stretch in a great arc from Oise to the Marne, and north
almost to Senlis. Some 70 landowners are listed.

THIS DATA ABOVE COMBINED WITH FOOTNOTES 3 & 4 SUGGEST THAT LE BELS ARE RELATED
TO CHARLEMAGNE AND FRENCH KINGS.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RECAP----le Bels served French Kings Philip, Louis
VI, Louis VII and then English Kings Henry II, John, and Henry III.
Eleanor of Aquitaine married French King Louis VII, and then moved to England
and married English King Henry II, her son was King John.
Eleanor was active in political affaires in France during Louis VII reign, in
England thru Henry II reign and into the reign of her son King John.
I believe Eleanor may have known Matthew le Bel in France (who served her husband
Louis VII), Herve, Hugh le Bel and son Richard of London, and Richard le Bel
(who served her husband Henry II and her son John).
The le Bel family may have moved with Eleanor from France to England.
We note Eleanor married Henry II, son of Geoffrey le Bel---any connection between
these le Bel families ?

Louis VII (1120 18 September 1180), called the Younger or the Young
(French: le Jeune), was King of the Franks from 1137 to 1180, the sixth from
the House of Capet. He was the son and successor of King Louis VI, ---
Louis and his famous counselor, Abbot Suger, pushed for a greater centralization
of the state---

Footnote 2-
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eleanor_of_Aquitaine
Eleanor of Aquitaine-----
On 25 July 1137 Louis VII of France and Eleanor were married in the Cathedral
of Saint-André in Bordeaux by the archbishop of Bordeaux----However,
after the birth of her second daughter Alix, Louis agreed to an annulment, as
15 years of marriage had not produced a son-----The marriage was annulled on
21 March 1152 ----As soon as the annulment was granted, Eleanor became engaged
to the duke of Normandy, who became King Henry II of England in 1154. Henry
was her third cousin and 11 years younger. The couple married on Whitsun, 18
May 1152---Eleanor of Aquitaine was queen consort of France (11371152)
and England (11541189)----On 25 October 1154, Henry became king of England.
Eleanor was crowned queen of England by the archbishop of Canterbury on 19 December
1154.[14] She may not have been anointed on this occasion, however, because
she had already been anointed in 1137.[21] Over the next 13 years, she bore
Henry five sons and three daughters: William, Henry, Richard, Geoffrey, John,
Matilda, Eleanor, and Joan.
