1772-1776, Mrs Mary Beale rented large home of Christopher McEvoy on Kings St, Christiansted, directly across from Anglican Church. She hosted many large dinners prior Planter’s Club meetings (dinner for 40 gentlemen) held @ the house. Members included Chr McEvoy, Isaac Markoe, Saml Thompson, & others.
1777, 16 July Christopher Nugent sells 34 Queens Cross Street where Thos Tucker lives, & house adjoining where Mrs Beale lives.
1777 matrical(tax) Madame Bell owned building site @ 11 Strand St, Xsted , and lived in house @ 27 Strand St--Capt Tingey lived here w wife. James White’s name connected to property. (see F)
1778 Madam Bell owns both properties, living there w dau & 6 slaves
1779 building lot sold to Jasper Hudson, rest same
1779-Mary Beale of St Croix, widow, appoints eldest son John Beale of Chester Co, PA, gentleman-my attorney. Wits: Adam Kuhul, Cha. Creagh. (Dr Adam Kuhn married Eliz Markoe 14 May 1780 on St Croix. He was one of the Quaker exiles to Va in 1777)

1782- Mary Beale of Phila, widow, buys house on bank between Water & Front St from Archibald McCall, Phila merchant & wife Judith. Neighbors Hugh Bowes & Anthony Stocker. (both Stocker & McCall were involved in the slave trade). Benj Paschall & Elijah Brown (see O) were witnesses to indenture. House @ 190 South Water St, between Pine & Spruce Streets.
1787, Mrs Beale rented a pew @ St Mary’s RC Church, Phila along with James White, George Meade,Patrick Byrne, Kellys
1804-proved 15 Oct , WILL of MARY BEALE of District Southwark, Co of Phila ( I believe she living @ home of son in law John Kelly)
Gives to 2 Granddau Maria Kelly, Eleanor Kelly house bought fm McCall.
